For over 75 years Sunburst Trout Farms has been cared for by the same family and is currently run by third-generation brothers, Wes and Ben Eason, who raise the colorful rainbow trout in pristine waters from the Pisgah National Forest. After harvest they are live hauled and processed within thirty minutes at a state-of-the-art facility down the road in Waynesville for optimal freshness.
