ONLINE & IN-PERSON FOOD SAFETY CERTIFICATIONS
AIR has partnered with Always Food Safe (AFS) to make Food Protection Manager Certification, Food Handler and Allergen Awareness training easy and convenient.
Online offerings for Food Protection Manager, Food Handler and Allergen Awareness training can be completed on any device and are available in both English and Spanish.
AIR offers discounted pricing on both in-person and online training for our members.
In-Person Food Manager Training
We have two upcoming ServSafe Food Manager Trainings. This 4-hour course includes handouts of the presentation to take home, class instruction, exam prep, exam voucher and proctoring, and same day certificate. Retest if needed is $40.
Please bring a laptop or tablet to take the test (a limited number of laptops can be made available to participants, if needed). Classes are held at AIR’s office at Explore Asheville with plenty of parking and a nearby transit stop.
Register For Online Certification Training
Always Food Safe ANSI-certified and is accredited to the same level as ServSafe. AFS is accepted across the US and is valid for five years. AFS also offers one free retake of the certification test if needed.
