An AIR initiated vocational culinary training program providing low-income individuals a pathway to self-sufficiency. Classes in the intensive 13 week program cover basic culinary skills, ServSafe certification and important life skills training. Graduates are trained to professional culinary standards. Project partners are GO, AB Technical Community College, Asheville City Schools, MANNA Foodbank, Goodwill Industries of NW North Carolina, Lenior-Rhyne University and AIR.
