What is your favorite part of being a restaurant owner in Asheville?

My favorite part of being a restaurant owner in Asheville is the local scene and how great the community is here.

What is the background of your restaurant’s name?

We picked a name that would represent one of the main ingredients in all of our food, and Limones(limes) was the best way to show it.

What ingredient could you not live without?

Honey, because I love the local honey. It had this natural sweetness that works well with the food I cook.

What is your favorite dish on your menu?

Ceviche Verde because it represents Limones well, from the freshness of the lime juice and how simple food can be delicious.

What is your favorite dish from a fellow AIR restaurant’s menu?

I like Plant and their smoked portabello dish. I also enjoy their red pepper steak sauce. They are doing a great job not using any meats.

Why did you choose Asheville to open your restaurant?

We chose Asheville to open a restaurant because it is similar to Berkeley, where we used to live. We think it’s a great place to raise a family.
