Asheville’s original farm to table restaurant – The Market Place – is looking for a qualified line cook to join our BOH team. We are a chef driven restaurant and focus on using the best local and sustainable produce, meats and seafood and are excited to be celebrating over 41 years of farm to table cooking in Asheville!We are looking for applicants with 2-3 years of minimum relevant experience in the industry, as well as a fundamental understanding of kitchen technique and professionalism.

Full weekend availability is necessary to be considered for hire.

The Market Place is looking to hire those with a genuinely positive attitude, pleasant demeanor, and strong work ethic. Interviews will be arranged by appointment.

Requirements:
– Professional attitude
– Knowledge of all basic cooking techniques
– Sanitation and organization a must
– No alcohol, drugs, or drama
– Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers
– Professional working environment
– Minimum 2-3 years experience
