All Day Darling is looking for an experienced, hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house team and help maintain a kitchen built around consistency, organization, quality, accountability, and respect.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working alongside the team while also taking ownership of daily kitchen operations, food quality, training, scheduling, inventory, food cost, sanitation, and execution of recipes and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily BOH operations, prep, and service
• Maintain consistent food quality, portioning, and presentation
• Ensure recipes, prep procedures, and kitchen SOPs are followed
• Train, coach, and develop BOH employees
• Maintain a positive, professional, and accountable kitchen culture
• Assist with BOH scheduling and labor management
• Manage ordering, inventory, receiving, food waste, and product rotation
• Maintain food-safety, sanitation, labeling, and allergen standards
• Keep walk-ins, storage areas, stations, and equipment clean and organized
• Communicate effectively with FOH and restaurant leadership
• Work actively on the floor and step onto a station when needed

What We’re Looking For

• Previous kitchen management, sous chef, or comparable leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of professional kitchen operations
• Experience with food cost, inventory, ordering, and labor management
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• High standards for food quality, cleanliness, and consistency
• Calm and solutions-oriented during busy service
• Ability to hold a team accountable while treating people with professionalism and respect
• Reliable availability, including weekends and holidays as needed

What Success Looks Like

A successful Kitchen Manager creates a kitchen where the team knows what is expected, food is consistently prepared to standard, prep and service stay organized, waste and labor are controlled, the kitchen is clean, and problems are addressed before they become larger issues.

We are looking for someone who leads by example and can create structure without unnecessary rigidity, and accountability without unnecessary drama.
