My favorite part of being a chef in Asheville is the variety of people that come through the doors

What is the background of your restaurants name?   

Chiesa is the Italian word for church, a fitting name for an Italian restaurant located in an old church

What ingredient could you not live without?

Garlic

What is your favorite dish on the menu?

Our mint pesto Arancini

What is your favorite dish from a fellow AIR restaurant?

The Masala Uttapam from Plant is really something special

Why did you chose Asheville to open your restaurant?

Asheville has been my home for the past 15 years, I love this place and the people that live here

There is nothing like a good spoon. From tasting to basting to plating, you just can’t beat the versatility of a spoon
