What is your favorite part of being a restaurant owner in Asheville?
Getting to meet all the different personalities and backgrounds.
What is the background of your restaurant’s name?
Bhramari is a goddess of bees. We came together when we started the business with all of our ideas, allowing us to reach our goals, like a hivemind.
What ingredient could you not live without?
Pork. No wait! Chicken. No wait! Salt. No wait! Beer. No wait. . .
What is your favorite dish on your menu?
Our Pickled Egg is pretty fun. It is a nod back to when I was younger, trying hot sauce on crackers. We extract the yolk from the egg and inject it with hot sauce.
What is your favorite dish from a fellow AIR restaurant’s menu?
I can’t say that I have a favorite dish, but Table is our favorite date spot.
Why did you choose Asheville to open your restaurant?
I love everything about Asheville. It’s my home, my boys were born here, I wanna die here.
What is your favorite chef’s tool and why?
My brain. It’s where my creativity comes from and it’s what I use to gain more knowledge about my craft.
