What is your favorite part of being a restaurant owner in Asheville

I am proud that we have a diverse group of customers.  I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life, both tourists and locals.

Flour

What is your favorite dish on your menu?

Farmhouse breakfast sandwich

Why did you choose Asheville to open your restaurant?

City Bakery was launched by Joe and Joan Eckert, who own Laughing Seed & Jack of the Wood.  They saw a need for fresh artisan bread. 

What is your favorite chef’s tool and why?

We like our deck oven a whole lot.
