2015 Taste of Asheville

2015TOA, 2015 Taste of AshevilleKick Off the Holiday Season with Local Flavors! This year, the Taste of Asheville, presented by Mission Health, will be held on Thursday, November 19 at The Venue from 6-9 pm. This event brings together 40 of Asheville’s best local chefs for tastings and samplings of old favorites and new creations. In addition to AIR restaurants, various beverage distributors will also be providing samples of wine, hard cider and, of course, beer. VIP tickets allow early entry into the event at 6 pm at $100/person. General admission tickets allow entry from 7-9 pm and are $75/person. Tickets are currently on sale at, so get them while they last!

Proceeds from the 2015 Taste of Asheville, presented by Mission Health, will go to support the “Chefs of Tomorrow” Scholarship Fund at A-B Tech’s nationally-acclaimed culinary program.

The Asheville Independent Restaurant Association (AIR), now its second decade, is an association of local, independent restaurants dedicated to keeping Asheville’s food scene eclectic, interesting, fresh and flavorful. It’s more than 100 members contribute richly to the city’s reputation as a culinary destination and a national leader in the farm-to-table movement.

WNC Culinary Expo

AIR Expo LogoThis culinary industry event is scheduled in the spring of each year. The purpose of this event is to promote our AIR Partners as well as sustainable practices in the hospitality industry. This one day conference includes; AIR’s general member meeting, industry forums and continuing education for restaurant owners, chefs and servers alike. The Expo features AIR Partners who have products and services to promote to restaurants and the hospitality industry.
